On North West’s birthday (Jun. 15), Vogue published an article online claiming that North West’s curls are inspiring to girls with natural curly hair.
But North’s “curly hair” is usually gelled/combed back to reveal straight hair. North West rarely shows versatility within her curls.
North West’s curls were only on display when the West-Kardashian family was in Armenia:
Meanwhile, Blue Ivy Carter’s curls depict the “natural curls” and can be used as a true inspiration for girls who wish to take part in the natural hair movement. Blue Ivy’s hairstyles show far more versatility and her curls are always on display – demonstrating a sense of pride in her hair.
We don’t mean to pin the two celebrity babies against one another, but why does North get to be the poster child for natural hair, when Blue Ivy’s hair is a better representation of true natural hair?
