Great Shampoo for Thin Hair

Great Shampoo for Thin Hair

I recently tried a new shampoo that’s meant for thin hair, and it works wonders!

Having thin and curly hair is most definitely a struggle, especially when it comes to maintaining volume. Even when I straighten my hair, it gets flat within one day of straightening it. I’ve tried a lot of different hair products to moisturize my hair and make it thicker (even natural remedies, like coconut oil) but they don’t work too well…

I ran out of my shampoo and I was actually looking for a new shampoo to use (from Aveda – I actually tried their Damage Remedy shampoo, which isn’t too bad, and their curly hair shampoo, which didn’t actually do anything for my curls, and essentially just smells like Coke). And I found a shampoo called, “Rosemary Mint Shampoo” which is for thin hair. The description says it’s an”invigorating care for fine hair,” which is what caught my eye.

The rest of the description says, “This unique daily shampoo adds body to fine hair-without stripping, build-up or static electricity. Formulated with peppermint to awaken your senses and rosemary to help protect from environmental damage. Its pure plant aroma naturally energizes and motivates your mind and body.” The minute I tried it, I fell in love! It’s has a minty feel to it, so it cools your scalp, and it smells great! When I left my hair curly, I just added leave in conditioner (I use Wen‘s Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner, which can be used as a leave in conditioner), and my hair was so much fuller and bigger! I loved it! When I straightened my hair, my hair stayed voluminous for three days (the fourth day is when it started getting greasy, but it was still very voluminous).

I haven’t tried the matching conditioner, but that’s because I still have Aveda’s “Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner.” But even with the mismatch combination of shampoo and conditioner, I definitely feel and see a difference in my hair. My hair is rarely ever flat, and it always feels clean, without feeling over-dried.

I, personally, have a tendency of switching around my shampoos once I finish using them, but I have a feeling I’ll be sticking to this shampoo for quite a while!
