The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. The chair of the event is Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue.
This year’s Met Gala was on May 4, 2015 and celebrated the China: Looking Through the Glass theme, the honorary chair for this year’s event was Silas Chou.
Many, many celebrities attended the event including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Zendaya, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, George Clooney alongside Amal Clooney and many more.
Not only were the dresses everyone wore extravagant, but each celebrity rocked a unique hairstyle.

Rihanna wore a beautiful, bright dress by Guo Pei and Christian Louboutin on her feet. She wore her neck-length, copper-colored hair with a beautiful gold headpiece.
Beyoncé wore Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. Her blonde hair was in a high ponytail, which was curled towards the end.
Zendaya wore Fausto Puglisi. Her hair was long and wavy, and she styled it with a beautiful sun-themed tiara.
Selena Gomez wore Vera Wang. Her hair was in a slicked-back low bun with a beautiful, white flower headpiece that went around her bun.
Amal Clooney wore Maison Margiela. Her hair was in loose waves to the side.
Lady Gaga sported Balenciaga. She also wore her hair in a low bun, but accessorized her hair with a black crown-like headpiece.
Miley Cyrus wore Alexander Wang. Her hair was greenish-gray and slicked back, with a side part.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen wore matching all-black ensembles. Mary Kate’s hair was in three-straind braids, while Ashely wore her hair half-up in a bun with gold pins.
Solange wore a Giles Deacon dress. Her hair was slicked back in a poofy ponytail.
