So, I recently received a sample conditioner and shampoo from Sephora by Drybar.
I’ve been using a conditioner I recently bought from Aveda, and I’m actually quite unhappy with it. I love the shampoo, but I hate the conditioner. It’s not moisturizing at all, and it leaves my hair really dry. So when I got the sample for the hydrating conditioner from Drybar, I was excited to try it out.
I tried the shampoo, but the thing about sample shampoos from Sephora, is that the sample size is never enough. So, I wasn’t able to test out the shampoo and see if I actually like it. But the sample size for the conditioner was more than enough (the irony). So, upon using the conditioner, I felt an instant difference! My hair was much more well moisturized, and it felt so soft! My hair looked healthier and more hydrated too!
The conditioner I used from Drybar was the Sake Bomb Conditioner – Hydrating Conditioner. The description on the bottle says, “Rich conditioner for medium to coarse hair. Detangles, nourishes and moisturizes hair from root to tip.” The scent of the conditioner was really soothing, too. It had a lavender and chamomile essence.
The best part about the conditioner is that it’s parabens, sulfates and phthalates free! Which means it can’t damage your hair.
All you have to do, is apply the conditioner after washing your hair with shampoo (I plan on sticking to my Rosemary Mint Shampoo from Aveda) and leave it in for about 2-3 minutes (you can comb it in to your hair, too), and simply rinse it out (thoroughly).
The conditioner really works wonders, and I really love it! I plan on buying it as soon as I finish my Rosemary Mint Conditioner from Aveda, which I loathe using…
